To expedite the trip to Laconia I opt to proceed down Interstate 93 to New Hampton. This is again another great road in New Hampshire, but it is an interstate. I generally do not like to ride the interstate as it is faster than prefer to ride. We make Laconia in record time and we are parking “Baby” by 9:45 am!
Recently, I toured the old Red Museum with some friends visiting from out of town. We had thought it would be a quick stop after touring Dealey Plaza, the JFK Memorial, the Sixth Floor Museum and the West End Historic District, all of which are located nearby. If nothing else, we figured it would be nice to take a break from the Texas heat. When we left the Old Red Museum two and a half enjoyable hours later, we were all impressed with design of the building and the wealth of fascinating historical items located within. Don’t do like we did and park on Commerce on a weekday afternoon, because you will get a ticket if you don’t move your car from the metered parking by 4:00pm.
Can’t Help Falling in love This song was written by George Weiss, Hugo Peretti and Luigi Creatore based on “Plaisir d’amour by Jean Paul Egide Martini. It was re-written in 1961 for Elvis Presley to perform in the movie Blue Hawaii.
As a baby cries in the midnight hour, somebody neglects to answer. Momma, dada he yearns for his mother and father. As the night prolong, his cry gets longer. Once a man and twice a child. The older you get, the child is reveald. Yet his faith is sealed. When you were young, did you respond? When the cry was there, did you hear? What goes around comes around; it was the cry from the baby’s lounge. Once again that distinguished sound, yes, it did come around.
All 3 elevators broke down during my 6 night stay. I was not offered any kind of compensation after having to walk up and down 9 flights. The staff is friendly but not real customer service oriented. they just kind of shrugged and smiled when guests complained. Perhaps I should have shrugged and smiled when it came time to pay.
Clubs in and around traveling man aren’t doing nearly as well as they have in the past and those who are regulars are very aware of this. Many venues have had to close down. It’s a bit devastating, but if you’re not out supporting these places then you can’t really complain. The Church has been alive and kicking around Dallas since 1994. The building was first erected as a trolley car repair station in 1899 and since has housed some of the best musical acts and DJs from around the world. It could be considered a haven for freethinking and outgoing individuals who aren’t afraid to be themselves.
Weather Station Keychain: Choose this one if you’re looking for an inexpensive gadget that he will love. The Weather Station Keychain costs just over , but gives him an LED flashlight, an alarm clock, calendar and the weather, all in one compact package. Who really wants to take a flashlight and a bulky alarm clock with them when they travel? This gadget is worth the money just for those things. The fact that it predicts the weather by measuring temperature and humidity is just a bonus.
Check-in was quick and almost painless. although the night clerk tried to charge my CC after i told him I was paying cash. I also asked him to file a CC for phone calls and room service and such. I was then told I couldn’t make a toll call to my daughter because I had paid in cash. Annoying to say the least. I also paid for my brother’s room as he had not yet arrived. When he did arrive, I was wandering around downtown Dallas. Scott had no problem getting his key whatsoever.
